We hear about the power of social media all the time but I never apprecaited how quickly it sweeps through spreading news and leading to action.
Last week Tom (my lovely brother) posted my Virgin money giving page on facebook, Australia time. By the time I was up in the UK I had about 8 emails from friends, and within 2 days £370 had been donated - my friends are amazing!
One thing that bought a smile to my face - a very good friend of my mum's phoned her with wonder at how well I was doing with my running, "up there with Paula Radcliffe". Check it out ;-)....http://www.marathonnewstv.com/?f=Kate&l=Morrison&ch&v=KateMorrison
Hopefully the momentum will continue, and maybe a little inspiration from this news report will rub off?!
